1. Who We Are

Nahora Studio, represented by its founders, is currently in a strategic development phase preparing for formal incorporation upon successful project funding.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Nahora Studio acts as the Data Controller of the personal data collected during the candidate evaluation and alignment process.

2. Purpose of This Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data provided by candidates during our selection, alignment, and strategic evaluation processes.

We are committed to handling personal data with transparency, integrity, and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

3. What Data We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data (name, email address, phone number);
  • Professional information (CV, portfolio, LinkedIn profile, Artstation profile, work history, qualifications);
  • Information shared during interviews and strategic conversations;
  • Availability and role expectations;
  • Any other information voluntarily provided by the candidate.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary and voluntarily disclosed.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process candidate data based on:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in evaluating candidates for potential collaboration;
  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent (where applicable).

5. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • Evaluating alignment with the Studio’s vision and values;
  • Assessing strategic and professional suitability;
  • Communicating about the selection process;
  • Determining potential future collaboration.

We do not use candidate data for marketing purposes.

6. Data Sharing

Candidate data is:

  • Accessed only by the founders and authorized decision-makers of Nahora Studio;
  • Not sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties;
  • Shared externally only if legally required or with explicit consent.

If the Studio becomes formally incorporated, relevant candidate data may be securely transferred to the newly formed legal entity for continuity of evaluation, under the same privacy standards.

7. Data Retention

We retain candidate data:

  • For the duration of the evaluation process;
  • For up to 12 months after the conclusion of the process, unless otherwise requested.

After this period, data will be securely deleted or anonymized. Candidates may request deletion at any time.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data, including:

  • Controlled access to documentation;
  • Secure digital storage;
  • Restricted internal sharing.

Access to candidate data is strictly limited to individuals directly involved in the evaluation process.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR

Candidates have the right to:

  • Access their personal data;
  • Request rectification of inaccurate data;
  • Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Restrict processing;
  • Object to processing;
  • Request data portability (where applicable);
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

10. International Data Transfers

If documentation or digital tools involve service providers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) will be applied.

We may update this Candidate Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or structural changes. The most current version will be made available upon request or through our official communication channels. We encourage candidates to review this Notice periodically to remain informed of any updates.
